But the 61-year-old actress wasn't putting on any airs or graces on the set of musical drama Smash today, as she cosied up to her young co-star Katherine McPhee and fellow cast members.
The Royal Tenenbaums actress looked classically elegant as she rehearsed for season two of the TV series, wearing a knee-length navy dress.

Sporting her trademark Cleopatra bob, the iconic actress wore simple black heels and accessorised with two long gold chains around her neck.

The American Idol season five runner-up leaned in towards Huston as the two spoke and laughed with Jack Davenport.
