Armed with a team of talented dancers, the singer does her share of rump-shaking in the four-minute clip for new single Goin' In, penned for the Step Up: Revolution soundtrack.
Opening the video in an electric pink cape, flanked by a pair of snow white wolves, JLo blows a gust of air from her rhinestone lips that transforms a dandelion into specks of glitter.
But the colourful display leaves something to be desired.

Pink lady: Jennifer Lopez debuted her new music video, Goin' In, today on MTV
Goin' In debuted on MTV First: Jennifer Lopez on Wednesday.
And while some of the visuals may be eye-catching, the video fails to tell a story through styling, movement or effects - nor does it connect with the random clips from the dance movie it was made for.
Lasers reminiscent of her 1999 video for Waiting for Tonight fill the screen and alongside a team of back-up dancers, JLo, later in sparkling hammer pants, pantomimes her way through the lyrics.
A familiar scene: The singer writhes around in several stomach-baring outfits
Poor styling: A neon pink cape is paired with rhinestone lips and tinted sunglasses - but the image doesn't pop
Radiant: Jennifer's skin looks flawless in an extreme close-up of her face and rhinestone lips
The
visuals effects - drums beating with colourful bursts of powder and
fire hydrants spraying electric hues of liquid - distract from the lack
of story, rather than add substance. True, it's meant to be a club-thumping dance track. But the poorly-executed production leaves one plucking through problems with lighting and costuming that when paired against the multi-million dollar budget of the Step Up franchise simply look cheap.
Rapper Flo Rida makes a brief appearance, the lyricist pictured at one point rhyming in front of a neon green sports car.
Perhaps surprisingly, Jennifer's tour choreographer, Casper Smart, does not feature prominately in the new clip - a departure from her April release for Dance Again, which featured the new couple in several provocative scenes.
Making her look good: A team of talented back-up dancers mimics her movement
That famous shape: Jennifer flaunted her curves throughout the clip
The obligatory sports car: Flo Rida was also featured in the video
Random: Two white wolves flank Jennifer as her cape is obviously pulled open by wires
Cameo: Flo Rida appears shirtless through most of his scenes
Electric: The singer opens the video blowing a dandelion, which transforms into specks of glitter
The
dancer had then followed in the footsteps of Jennifer's ex-boyfriend
Ben Affleck, who famously appeared in her 2002 video for Jenny from the
Block, in which the actor was seen nuzzling into JLo's bikini and
untying her hot pink top.The Oscar-winner later said he regretted doing the video.
But one could surmise Casper won't be sharing those feelings.
The choreographer has been photographed with his girlfriend around the world while on her world tour, Dance Again, and are currently in the U.S. for several tour dates with Enrique Iglesias.
Soundtrack: Goin' In was penned for new dance movie Step Up: Revolution
Just yesterday, Casper and Jennifer celebrated her 43rd birthday with a party on a luxury yacht in New York City. The singer split from husband Marc Anthony last July after seven years of marriage, and began dating 25-year-old Casper later that year.
Goin' In is featured on Jennifer Lopez' greatest hits album, Dance Again... The Greatest Hits.
It is also featured on the soundtrack of Step Up: Revolution 3D, choreographed by Chuck Maldonado, scheduled for release on Friday.
