Katie Price gets the hump with wedding resort as butler asks, 'Are you a famous porn star?'

Katie Price had her dream wedding to Kieran Hayler ruined by the very people she trusted to organise it.

The glamour model flew to the Bahamas to get married at the Sandals Royal Bahamian resort and spa, but found the sandy paradise anything but idyllic.

Katie, 34, compared the Sandals resort to a smelly old slipper after one of the staff members accused her of being a porn star.

Writing in her column for The Sun newspaper, Katie said: 'Sandals my a**e. It was more like a smelly old flip-flop.'

The happy couple were given a butler as part of their wedding package deal, but the hired help asked if Price was a porn star after she had inquired if there was a private beach she could sunbathe on.

A gobsmacked Katie kept her calm at the insult, but was left livid after the 'so-called classy hotel' failed to live up to its reputation.

Although the venue had been recommended by her friend Michelle Heaton, the description in the brochure didn't match the reality of the resort.

Katie said: 'Our wedding tent was made of plastic too. It looked like it had come straight out of a B&Q flat pack and we saw it being wheeled out for one wedding in a wheelbarrow.'

The mother-of-three also felt that the whole resort was more like an 18-30 holiday club than a romantic wedding destination.

The bride and groom even decided to stay in their hotel room on their honeymoon night because they couldn't face sitting in the restaurant.

However, instead of having their big meal brought to them, they were abruptly told to look at the room service menu.

Katie added: 'Nothing will ruin the happiness I've found with Kieran but I was so stressed out by the whole experience I came home with a cold sore on my lip.'

Sandals told the newspaper: 'As a gesture of goodwill we are willing to offer her a refund on condition she does not choose our resorts for any future weddings or stays.'
