But it would seem Shenae Grimes is comfort eating in the wake of learning the CW show will come off the air in May once and for all.
The 23-year-old actress appeared to be consoling herself about the cancellation of the teen drama as she stepped out on a shopping trip with fiancé Josh Beech on Thursday.

Looking decidedly glum as she stocked up on groceries at Ralph's in Hollywood, California, the brunette star couldn't wait to get back home before she started tucking into her culinary delights.
Popping a tasty treat in her mouth as she chatted away to her beau, Shenae looked worlds away from her usual happy, smiling self as she wandered back to her car.
A million miles from her 90210 alter-ego's preened and polished look, the actress opted for a decidedly scruffy ensemble as she ran her errands for the day, stepping out in a pair of baggy sweatpants and a loose-fitting T-shirt bearing her boyfriend's name.

And in the wake of the show's cancellation, the television star was letting her appearance fall by the wayside a little, piling her brunette locks on top of her head and going make-up free.
Luckily, the gorgeous actress had her British model fiance for support, with him planting a tender kiss on her lips as they made their way back to their car together.
After building up a loyal following of fans over its five series, it was announced on Thursday that 90210 will come to an end on May 13.

Jessica Stroup, who has played Erin Silver since the show's inception in 2008, took to Twitter to thank fans for their support over the years.
She wrote: 'Oh Silver, our time has come to an end but you are a part of me forever. Thanks to the fans who have been along for the ride, all my love.'
Actor Trevor Donovan, who plays Teddy Montgomery in the show, tweeted: 'Very grateful I had the opportunity to play a meaningful character,... who just happened to be gay xo #ThanksForTheMemories.'

Even former Beverly Hills 90210 star Jason Priestly chipped in with a sympathetic tweet, writing: 'The CW's 90210 to end after five seasons. Lasted half as long as the original...Not bad guys...'
TV Line reports that ratings slipped from a million viewers to under 600,000 this season and has been performing poorly.
The show was a reboot of the 1990s hit show Beverly Hills 90210 which starred the likes of  Priestly, Shannon Doherty and Jennie Garth and lasted ten seasons.

In the same vein as Gossip Girl and One Tree Hill, the last show will likely be paired with a retrospective of the drama.
'The CW has had five great seasons with America's favourite zip code, 90210,' CW president Mark Pedowitz said in a statement.
'I'd like to thank the talented cast, producers, and crew for all their hard work and dedication to the series. We are very proud of the West Beverly High alumni.'
